Building an AI-Ready Culture at ME Elecmetal

At ME Elecmetal, we continue advancing with determination on our path toward digital transformation and continuous innovation—two strategic pillars that define our corporate vision and reinforce our commitment to technological progress, operational excellence, and the holistic development of our people. As part of our 2025 strategic priorities, we have taken bold steps to place Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the core of our organizational culture, ensuring it becomes a catalyst for smarter, more efficient, and future-focused ways of working.

This effort goes far beyond the adoption of new technological tools; it represents a deep cultural transformation aimed at ensuring that every employee understands, values, and applies the potential of AI in their daily work. With this purpose, we designed and implemented a comprehensive Artificial Intelligence training program focused on strengthening our teams’ capabilities, broadening their vision of the future of work, and harnessing the opportunities that AI offers to optimize processes, foster creativity, enhance efficiency, and improve decision-making at every level of the organization.

Developed with the support of the consulting firm Adapki, the training program followed a structured and progressive approach that reached four organizational levels. Nearly 240 employees participated—among them executives, area leaders, and a group of early adopters, the latter composed of individuals naturally inclined to explore the potential of AI and understand how it can be practically integrated into their everyday work.

The program was designed with differentiated training paths based on each group’s experience level and responsibilities. For executives, the focus centered on providing a strategic and practical understanding of how to integrate Artificial Intelligence into key business processes—positioning AI as an enabler of more informed, agile, sustainable, and data-driven decision-making. For leaders and technical teams, the sessions incorporated concrete examples and real use cases—both from within ME Elecmetal and from other organizations—demonstrating in a tangible way how AI is already helping simplify tasks, accelerate response times, and enhance productivity.

For early adopters, the emphasis was on sparking curiosity and providing foundational tools to encourage experimentation and the responsible use of AI. Participants explored accessible AI applications, learned how these technologies function, and—most importantly—identified concrete opportunities for improvement within their own work environments.

The program activities were led by ME Elecmetal South America, with support from Adapki, and successfully brought together representatives from multiple areas of the company. Acting as internal ambassadors, these leaders played a fundamental role in motivating teams, sharing best practices, and supporting the implementation of the training plan. Their participation was essential to building a strong learning community, promoting the adoption of new ways of working, and ensuring that the knowledge gained continues to multiply throughout the organization.
