Global Sustainability Committee: Guiding ME Elecmetal’s Vision for Growth and Circularity

In July 2025, ME Elecmetal’s Global Sustainability Committee marked an important milestone—its third session, in-person for the first time since being established in 2024. Held at the company’s headquarters in Santiago, Chile, the meeting centered on a critical challenge: how to continue driving business growth while simultaneously increasing environmental, social, and economic value by 2030—and setting the stage for a complete transformation by 2050.

At its core, this means reducing ME Elecmetal’s environmental footprint while remaining highly competitive in the global market. Sustainability is no longer a parallel effort—it is fully embedded into the company’s corporate strategy. From production to internal culture to stakeholder relationships, ME Elecmetal is committed to passing along the benefits of sustainability directly to its customers.
